Method
- Cook rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Toss sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch and marinate briefly.
- Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and water.
- Heat oil in a wok and stir-fry beef until browned, then remove.
- Cook garlic, chili peppers, and onion until fragrant.
- Add noodles and toss with aromatics.
- Return beef to pan and pour sauce over noodles.
- Toss everything together and cook until heated through.
- Stir in basil and lime juice and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra heat, add chili paste or crushed red pepper flakes.
