Ingredients
  

Chocolate Mousse
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream warmed
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Saucepan

Method
 

  1. Warm the heavy cream until hot but not boiling.
  2. Place chocolate chips in the blender and pour warm cream over them.
  3. Let the mixture sit for 1 minute to melt the chocolate.
  4. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup or sugar, and vanilla extract.
  5. Blend until smooth and glossy.
  6. Pour into dessert glasses and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until set.

Notes

Top with whipped cream, berries, or chocolate shavings before serving.
