Ingredients
  

  • 2 large sweet potatoes about 1.5-2 lbs
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cut sweet potatoes into even fries. Soak in cold water 20-30 minutes, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
  2. Toss fries with oil, cornstarch, and seasonings until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange fries in single layer in basket.
  4. Air fry 8 minutes, shake or flip, then cook 7-10 more minutes until crispy and golden.
  5. Serve hot immediately for best texture.

Notes

Cut fries evenly for uniform cooking. Don't overcrowd the basket. Adjust seasonings to taste.
