Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 3 cups apples peeled and diced
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
Assembly
  • 10-12 egg roll wrappers
  • oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Cook apples with butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  2. Add cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  3. Cool filling completely.
  4. Fill and roll egg roll wrappers, sealing edges.
  5. Fry at 350°F until golden brown.
  6. Drain and serve with toppings.

Notes

Bake or air fry for a lighter option.
