Method
- Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef until browned.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a bowl mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour sauce over beef and stir well.
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce coats the beef.
- Serve beef over rice and garnish with carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds.
Notes
Add broccoli, cucumber, or avocado for extra freshness and texture.
