Ingredients
  

Chicken and Breading
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper adjust for spice
Hot Honey Sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce like sriracha
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and coat with cooking spray.
  2. Set up breading stations: flour with spices in one bowl, whisked eggs in another, panko in the third.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, then eggs, then panko, pressing to coat.
  4. Place on baking sheet, spray tops with oil, and bake 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. In a saucepan, heat honey, hot sauce, vinegar, and butter until melted and combined.
  6. Drizzle sauce over baked chicken and serve.

Notes

Adjust spice level to taste; store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
