Ingredients
  

  • 2 pears halved and cored
  • 4 oz goat cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 tbsp walnuts or pecans chopped, optional
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking dish.
  2. Arrange pear halves cut-side up and drizzle with oil or butter.
  3. Bake 18–22 minutes until tender.
  4. Fill centers with goat cheese and drizzle with honey.
  5. Top with nuts, herbs, salt, and pepper. Serve warm.
