- Whisk together flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in molasses, egg, and vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients until dough forms.

- Roll dough balls in sugar and place on baking sheet.
