Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup apple cider
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Swirl
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, beat melted butter and brown sugar until combined. Add eggs, apple cider, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture, then top with remaining batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
  7. Slice and serve plain or with butter.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
