Method
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl combine cooked pasta, ground beef, cheddar cheese, diced pickles and onion.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
- Fold in shredded lettuce just before serving.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and extra pickles if desired. Serve chilled.
Notes
For best flavor chill the pasta salad for 30 minutes before serving.
