Blueberry Basil Lemon Lavender Mocktail

A refreshing, floral mocktail made with blueberries, basil, lemon juice, and lavender syrup.

Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup water for syrup
  • 0.5 cup sugar or honey
  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • 0.5 cup fresh blueberries
  • 6 leaves fresh basil
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sparkling water to top

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Muddler
  • Strainer
  • Glass

Method
 

  1. Simmer water and sugar until dissolved. Add lavender, steep 10 minutes, strain and cool.
  2. Muddle blueberries and basil gently in a glass.
  3. Add lemon juice and lavender syrup.
  4. Fill with ice, top with sparkling water, garnish and serve.

Notes

Use culinary lavender only and avoid over-steeping.
