  • 1 large cauliflower head
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.75 cup shredded cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice cauliflower into thick steak-like pieces.
  3. Brush with olive oil and season with garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roast until golden and tender.
  5. Top with cheese and return to oven until melted.

Broil briefly for extra browning if desired.
