Ingredients
  

Milk Tea
  • 2 bags Earl Grey tea or 1 tbsp loose leaf
  • 1 cup water hot
  • 1 cup milk any type
  • 2-3 tbsp cherry syrup or puree
  • 1-2 tsp honey or sugar optional
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Toppings
  • foam or whipped cream
  • cherry syrup for drizzling

Equipment

  • Tea kettle
  • Saucepan or microwave
  • Tea strainer (if using loose leaf)
  • Mug

Method
 

  1. Brew Earl Grey tea in hot water for 4–5 minutes.
  2. Warm milk on the stovetop or in the microwave and froth if desired.
  3. Stir cherry syrup into the brewed tea and sweeten with honey if needed.
  4. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Pour warm milk into tea and stir gently.
  6. Top with foam or whipped cream and drizzle with cherry syrup.

Notes

Use oat milk for extra creaminess. Increase cherry syrup for a deeper fruity flavor.
