Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper optional
Garlic Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Whisk together olive oil, yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and spices to make the marinade.
  2. Add chicken thighs and coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  4. Place marinated chicken on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Allow chicken to rest briefly before slicing thinly.
  7. Mix garlic sauce ingredients until smooth.
  8. Serve chicken in pita with vegetables and garlic sauce.

Notes

For extra authenticity, add pickled cucumbers and tahini sauce to the wraps.
