Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade
  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
Garlic Sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1-2 tbsp cold water
Serving
  • pita bread
  • cucumbers, sliced
  • pickles
  • tomatoes, sliced
  • fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Combine chicken with olive oil, yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, and spices. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare garlic sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients until smooth and creamy. Chill until serving.
  3. Heat skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat with a small amount of oil.
  4. Cook chicken in batches for 4–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
  5. Let chicken rest, then slice into thin strips.
  6. Warm pita bread until soft and pliable.
  7. Assemble wraps with chicken, vegetables, and garlic sauce.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Garlic sauce can be adjusted with more lemon or garlic depending on taste preference.
