Banana Bread Batter
  • 3 bananas ripe and mashed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon optional
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Whisk dry ingredients separately and combine with wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into pan and bake for 50–60 minutes.
  7. Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor.
