- Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and nutty, then cool slightly.
- Mix browned butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt to form dough.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and scoop dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers soft.
