- Soften dates by soaking in hot water for 5 minutes.
- Blend softened dates, cocoa powder, vanilla, and half the milk until smooth.
- Add espresso or coffee and blend again.
- Heat remaining milk and froth if desired.
- Pour blended mixture into a mug and add hot milk. Stir softly.
- Top with cocoa powder or whipped cream.
Notes
Use oat milk for the creamiest dairy-free version. Blend extra and store the mixture for quick future lattes.
