Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup milk warm
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Filling
  • 100 g dark chocolate chunks
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder optional
  • 2 tbsp cream optional

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add warm milk and oil to form dough.
  2. Knead dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let dough rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare chocolate filling or ganache and let cool.
  5. Divide dough into portions and flatten each piece.
  6. Fill with chocolate and seal tightly.
  7. Let buns rest for 20–30 minutes.
  8. Steam buns for 10–12 minutes until fluffy.
  9. Rest briefly before opening lid and serve warm.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor. Avoid overfilling buns.
