Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Ingredients
  

Banana Chips
  • 4 ripe bananas firm but not overripe
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice optional
  • 1 tsp neutral oil optional

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mandoline slicer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Wire rack

Method
 

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8-inch thick. Toss in lemon juice if using.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil.
  4. Place banana slices in a single layer in the basket.
  5. Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the slices.
  6. Air fry at 300°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Sprinkle remaining mixture and cook 5-10 more minutes until crisp.
  8. Cool on wire rack and store in airtight container.

Notes

For crispier chips, cook in batches and monitor closely to prevent burning.
