  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts cut into pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Sauce
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta and add broccoli in the last 2–3 minutes.
  2. Season and cook chicken until golden.
  3. Melt butter and cook garlic.
  4. Add lemon juice, zest, mustard, spices, and simmer.
  5. Return chicken and add pasta and broccoli.
  6. Mix in parmesan and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor and avoid overcooking broccoli.
