Chicken
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Pasta and Sauce
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • extra mozzarella for garnish

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken in olive oil until golden and fully cooked. Rest and slice.
  4. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine.
  6. Add mozzarella, parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
  7. Toss cooked spaghetti in the sauce until fully coated.
  8. Top with sliced Cajun chicken, garnish, and serve hot.

Notes

Freshly shredded mozzarella creates the smoothest and creamiest garlic cheese sauce.
