Method
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is creamy.
- Add lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Return shrimp to skillet and toss gently to coat in sauce.
- Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with garlic bread.
Notes
Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender. Serve immediately for best texture.
