Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika optional
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 2–3 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is creamy.
  7. Add lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes if using.
  8. Return shrimp to skillet and toss gently to coat in sauce.
  9. Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with garlic bread.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender. Serve immediately for best texture.
