Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 250 g pasta
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Wide skillet
  • Wooden spoon
  • Colander

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente and reserve pasta water.
  2. Sauté mushrooms in butter and olive oil until golden.
  3. Add garlic and seasoning, cook briefly.
  4. Stir in cream and simmer gently.
  5. Add parmesan and pasta, toss to coat.

Notes

Add pasta water as needed to loosen sauce.
