Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red chili flakes optional
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Fresh parsley leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
  3. Add butter and cream, then season with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes; simmer until thickened.
  4. Toss pasta in the sauce until fully coated.
  5. Top with Parmesan and parsley; serve immediately.

Notes

Add a splash of pasta water to adjust creaminess if needed.
