Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops 1-inch thick
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

  • Meat thermometer
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in skillet and sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add butter and garlic to skillet, sauté 30–60 seconds.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping browned bits.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and thyme. Simmer gently.
  6. Return pork chops to skillet, spoon sauce, and cook until internal temp reaches 145°F.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Add mushrooms or lemon juice for extra flavor.
