  • 1 lb sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear seasoned steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add butter and garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.
  5. Stir in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add tortellini and steak back to skillet and toss to coat.
  7. Season to taste and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best sauce texture.
