  • 4 ripe pears peeled, cored, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 4 cups cold water or sparkling
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional

  • Large pitcher
  • Citrus juicer

Method
 

  1. Peel, core, and chop the pears. Add to a blender.
  2. Add lemon juice, condensed milk, sugar, and vanilla to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher if desired for smoother texture.
  4. Stir in cold water until combined. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness.
  5. Serve over ice with garnishes like lemon slices, pear slices, or mint.

Notes

Use very ripe pears for best natural sweetness. Stir before serving if stored.
