Method
- Pat chicken dry and season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken skin-side down 5–7 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Flip chicken and cook 5–7 minutes on the other side.
- Reduce heat, add butter, garlic, and herbs, and baste chicken 2–3 minutes.
- Check internal temperature: 165°F (74°C). Remove, rest 5 minutes, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Do not overcrowd pan to maintain crispiness.
