Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup fresh strawberries finely diced
  • 20-24 wonton wrappers
  • oil for frying

Equipment

  • Deep frying pan or pot
  • Slotted spoon

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in strawberries.
  2. Place filling in center of wonton wrappers.
  3. Seal edges with water, removing air pockets.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry wontons until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes.
  6. Drain, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.

Notes

Do not overfill wontons. Best served fresh for maximum crispiness.
