Ingredients
  

Main Mixture
  • 3 cups chocolate wafer crumbs or crushed chocolate cookies
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup maraschino cherries finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup bourbon
  • 0.25 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Coating
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar for rolling
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder optional coating
  • 0.5 cup melted chocolate optional for drizzling

Method
 

  1. Crush chocolate wafers into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix crumbs, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder together.
  3. Add chopped maraschino cherries and stir.
  4. Pour in bourbon, condensed milk, and vanilla; mix into a thick dough.
  5. Chill mixture 20–30 minutes for easy rolling.
  6. Roll into 1-inch balls and coat with powdered sugar or cocoa.
  7. Drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
  8. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.

Flavors deepen after resting overnight; store refrigerated.
