Ingredients
  

Truffle Base
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter optional
Coatings
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup crushed candy canes
  • 0.5 cup holiday sprinkles
  • 1 cup melted chocolate for dipping

Method
 

  1. Heat heavy cream until steaming but not boiling.
  2. Pour cream over chocolate and let sit 3–5 minutes.
  3. Stir until smooth; add butter if desired.
  4. Chill for 1–2 hours until firm.
  5. Scoop and roll into balls.
  6. Coat in cocoa powder, crushed candy canes, sprinkles, or melted chocolate.
  7. Chill again until firm.
