Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • Food coloring optional, a few drops
  • Sprinkles optional for decoration

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add peppermint extract and optional food coloring. Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar, mixing thoroughly until a thick, pliable dough forms.
  4. Shape mixture into small discs, balls, or hearts. Flatten slightly if desired.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle with decorative sugar or sprinkles.
  6. Place mints on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 weeks.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened completely for smooth mints. Powdered sugar can be adjusted to taste. Customize with extracts or decorations.
