Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg optional
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Sauté garlic in butter until fragrant.
  3. Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and optional nutmeg; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in Parmesan until smooth, then toss with cooked fettuccine.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Add a splash of pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
