  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1.25 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp orange zest fresh
  • 0.75 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.75 cup walnuts chopped

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, orange zest, cranberries, and walnuts.
  2. Add warm water and honey, stirring until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover and let rise at room temperature for 12–18 hours.
  4. Preheat oven and Dutch oven to 450°F (230°C).
  5. Shape dough gently and transfer to hot Dutch oven.
  6. Bake covered for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Allow full cooling time for best texture.
