Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut puff pastry into rectangles, prick with a fork, and dust with powdered sugar.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp, then cool completely.
- Slice strawberries and optionally toss with sugar to macerate.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Layer pastry, cream, and strawberries, repeating and finishing with pastry on top.
- Dust with powdered sugar, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Assemble just before serving to keep pastry crisp. Try adding chocolate drizzle or lemon zest for variation.
