Ingredients
  

Pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Cream Filling
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Strawberries
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 tbsp sugar optional

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut puff pastry into rectangles, prick with a fork, and dust with powdered sugar.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp, then cool completely.
  4. Slice strawberries and optionally toss with sugar to macerate.
  5. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  6. Layer pastry, cream, and strawberries, repeating and finishing with pastry on top.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Assemble just before serving to keep pastry crisp. Try adding chocolate drizzle or lemon zest for variation.
