Ingredients
  

  • 9-12 noodles lasagna noodles cooked al dente
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 lemon juice of
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 6 tbsp butter for garlic butter sauce
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and grease baking dish.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles and set aside.
  3. Cook shrimp in butter and garlic, remove and set aside.
  4. Deglaze skillet with white wine and lemon juice.
  5. Prepare garlic butter sauce with butter, garlic, cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  6. Layer noodles, shrimp, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and sauce.
  7. Top with remaining noodles, sauce, and cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes, remove foil and bake 10–15 minutes more.
  9. Rest 5–10 minutes before slicing and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Resting helps the lasagna hold together when slicing.
