Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves fresh garlic minced or grated
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley or fresh
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 0.25 tsp kosher salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese freshly grated, optional
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar optional

Method
 

  1. Combine garlic, herbs, spices, and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Add Parmesan if using and mix.
  3. Pour in olive oil and stir to combine.
  4. Add balsamic if desired and adjust seasonings.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs and let sit briefly.
  6. Serve with crusty bread for dipping.

Best served at room temperature. Store refrigerated up to 1 week.
