Method
- Peel and roughly chop the fresh ginger and turmeric roots.
- Add ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, honey, water, black pepper, and optional ground turmeric to a blender.
- Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or measuring cup.
- Press the liquid through the strainer with a spoon, leaving the pulp behind.
- Transfer the liquid into small glass bottles or a sealed jar.
- Chill before serving.
- Shake well and enjoy 1 small shot per serving.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days and shake before each serving for best freshness.
