Ingredients
  

Bars
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 0.25 cup orange juice fresh
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups fresh cranberries
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp orange juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, zest, juice, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients and fold in cranberries.
  5. Bake 28–32 minutes until set. Cool completely.
  6. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over bars before slicing.

Cool completely before glazing for best texture.
