Ingredients
  

Apples
  • 3 apples Honeycrisp or Fuji
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Toppings
  • 6 slices prosciutto thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp honey plus more for drizzling
  • black pepper to taste
  • fresh thyme optional

Equipment

  • Grill pan or outdoor grill
  • Tongs
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife

Method
 

  1. Slice apples into thick wedges and toss lightly with olive oil.
  2. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium heat.
  3. Grill apple slices for 2–3 minutes per side until tender with grill marks.
  4. Wrap or top grilled apples with prosciutto.
  5. Return to grill for 1–2 minutes per side until prosciutto slightly crisps.
  6. Transfer to serving plate and drizzle with honey.
  7. Finish with black pepper and fresh thyme. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture. Try hot honey for a spicy twist.
