Ingredients
  

Cheesesteak Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 6-8 slices provolone cheese

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Spatula
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. Sauté onions and peppers until soft, then set aside.
  2. Cook ground beef until browned and season well.
  3. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and spices.
  4. Mix in vegetables and top with cheese to melt.
  5. Toast rolls, fill with mixture, and serve hot.

Notes

Use 80/20 beef for best flavor. Melt cheese directly into the beef for authentic texture.
