Ingredients
  

Dog Ice Cream Base
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree unsweetened
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.5 cup blueberries fresh or thawed from frozen
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for dogs over 1 year

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Silicone molds or ice cube tray
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Wash blueberries and prepare pumpkin puree and Greek yogurt.
  2. Combine pumpkin puree and Greek yogurt in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Fold in half of the blueberries.
  4. Add honey if desired and mix well.
  5. Spoon mixture into silicone molds or ice cube tray.
  6. Top with remaining blueberries.
  7. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  8. Serve frozen as a healthy treat for your dog.

Notes

Use pure pumpkin and plain yogurt. Portion treats according to your dog's size.
