Method
- Toast bread cubes at 300°F (150°C) for 15–20 minutes until dry.
- Sauté onions, celery, and garlic in butter until soft.
- Stir in herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Combine dried bread cubes with vegetable mixture and parsley.
- Add broth slowly until mixture is evenly moistened.
- Stir in eggs if using.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C), covered for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 15–20 minutes more until golden.

Add sausage, apples, mushrooms, or cranberries to customize.
