Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 1 rack pork ribs baby back or St. Louis
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce dark preferred
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger minced
  • 2 tbsp vinegar rice or apple cider
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with water
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions sliced

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Remove the membrane from the ribs and pat dry.
  2. Season ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oil.
  3. Wrap in foil and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 2 1/2 hours.
  4. Combine honey, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, and vinegar in a saucepan and simmer.
  5. Stir in cornstarch slurry until the sauce thickens.
  6. Brush ribs with sauce and broil 3–5 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Broil carefully to prevent burning the sauce.
