Ingredients
  

Carrots
  • 1 lb carrots peeled and cut
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Herbs
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp thyme

Method
 

  1. Peel and cut carrots into even pieces.
  2. Boil carrots for 5–7 minutes until slightly tender, then drain.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Add carrots and toss to coat.
  6. Drizzle honey and cook until glazed and tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Finish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

Add lemon juice for brightness or chili flakes for a spicy variation.
