Ingredients
  

Cheeseburger Mac Base
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 2.5 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Set Instant Pot to sauté mode and cook onion in olive oil for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add uncooked macaroni and beef broth, stirring gently.
  5. Seal lid and pressure cook on high for 4 minutes.
  6. Quick release pressure carefully.
  7. Stir in milk, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese until smooth and creamy.
  8. Let sit for 2–3 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Freshly shredded cheese melts smoother than pre-shredded cheese. Add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers for extra creaminess.
