Ingredients
  

  • 4 parsnips peeled and sliced
  • 4 carrots peeled and sliced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup water or vegetable broth
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Instant Pot
  • Steamer basket

Method
 

  1. Add water or broth to the Instant Pot and insert the steamer basket.
  2. Place parsnips and carrots into the basket.
  3. Top with butter cubes, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Seal lid and pressure cook on High for 4 minutes.
  5. Quick release pressure and carefully remove vegetables.
  6. Toss gently and adjust seasoning before serving.

Notes

Finish with fresh herbs or Parmesan for extra flavor.
