Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.25 cups warm milk
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping & Filling
  • 0.5 cup fruit jam
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients together.
  2. Add wet ingredients and form dough.
  3. Knead until smooth.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled.
  5. Shape dough in baking pan.
  6. Create dimples and add jam.
  7. Bake until golden.
  8. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Use thicker jam to avoid soggy dough.
