Method
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, grated pear, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
- Add sliced beef and marinate at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook marinated beef and onions for 3–5 minutes until caramelized.
- Add green onions and cook briefly.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.
Notes
For spicy bulgogi add 1 teaspoon gochujang to the marinade.
